Ken has worked for two Companies during his career. He worked for Crawford Door, a local company in Portland for many years. That is where he began doing doors, and while there is did so many different things. He learned doors inside and out and has installed in the Portland International Airport, nearly every Home Depot Store along the entire West Coast, installed a one of a kind door that allowed for the Spruce Goose Airplane to enter the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon. Here are some photos of the Spruce Goose and the Air Museum - There are quite a few on their website or if you just search. He originally began doing overhead garage doors with Crawford and worked on everything with them.
With his last employer Ken did much of this work on overhead doors at the Coal Mines and Power Plants, as he has such a vast knowledge and expertise with Commercial Doors. He also had the opportunity to learn the world of Entry and Exit (Walk-Thru) doors. He found that he was very adept at it and that, along with dock equipment was his focus for the last 5 years. There is a great demand for the Service and Install of Storefront Walk-Thru doors, and Ken enjoys doing them, thus we decided to put the majority of our focus on them when deciding to start our own business. He has experience across the board, and as he said, if it has to do with a door, he can do it.
He has done work in the prisons, mines, plants, local distribution centers, and we currently have clients such as RDO/John Deere, Bobcat, Anytime Fitness, Montana Dakota Utilities, Cross Country Freight, and have just finished out first Contract Bid with the City of Bismarck at the Parks & Recreation Aquatic Center. We have Service Contracts with various Service companies such as DH Pace and True Source (these companies provide contractors for businesses such as Sam's Club, Walmart, Michaels, Verizon, etc.)
